Our CSR Commitments

Beyond the well-being of its guests, Beauvallon Collection works every day to reduce its environmental impact and help preserve the planet. Because sustainability lies at the heart of our values, we are committed — together with all our teams — to continually going further in an approach that respects the natural environment around us.

Among the many CSR initiatives implemented are actions to reduce food waste, the use of eco-friendly cleaning products, a policy to limit plastic use, and the installation of rainwater collection systems for watering green spaces.

These initiatives enabled Hostellerie Cèdre in Beaune and Hostellerie Briqueterie in Champagne to obtain the Clef Verte label in 2025 — an internationally recognised certification for sustainable tourism.

Proud of this distinction, which rewards our commitment, we will continue our efforts for as long as necessary to make our properties exemplary in terms of environmental responsibility.

EnergY

Managing Energy Consumption

Controlling our energy consumption is a major lever in reducing our environmental impact.

Several investments have been made across our properties:

  • Replacement of air-conditioning systems and hot water tanks
  • Installation of motion sensors and timers in common areas
  • Improved thermal insulation, notably through the replacement of the windows at the Clos du Cèdre restaurant
  • Guest awareness initiatives encouraging simple actions such as reusing towels

In 2024, with support from ADEME, we also carried out additional investments in Beaune, including the purchase of energy-efficient equipment meeting current CSR standards.

Gardens and green areas

Preserving Biodiversity

The gardens of our properties are designed as true ecosystems that encourage local biodiversity.

Our initiatives include:

  • Installation of birdhouses and insect hotels
  • Creation of herb gardens
  • Responsible watering through rainwater harvesting
  • Beehive sponsorship with a local beekeeper to support bee protection at Hostellerie Cèdre

These initiatives help preserve local flora and fauna while enriching the guest experience.

Promoting Sustainable Mobility

We encourage more environmentally friendly modes of transport for both our guests and our teams.

Our properties offer:

  • Electric bicycles available for guests
  • Electric vehicle charging stations
  • Facilities dedicated to cyclists, including the Accueil Vélo certification at Hostellerie Cèdre
  • Development of soft mobility infrastructure, such as bicycle shelters

These initiatives contribute to promoting more responsible tourism and sustainable travel.
