English immersion at Beauvallon international
A world of adventure...in English!
Already recognized for organizing multilinguistic and multicultural stays that focus on French language and expression, and great experiences in receiving teenagers from around the world, Beauvallon joined a recognized Linguistic School to offer an English immersion program of very high quality.
Our main goal is to interest teenagers to learn English and to allow them to improve theirs school results in that subject. To do so, our approach is basically made thru games and role playing which will make it possible for the teenagers to give their full potential.
All this makes Beauvallon, now more than ever, a world of Adventure….in English.
It’s a program customized for the teenagers. They will be grouped depending on which level suits them best, beginner, intermediate or advanced. The groups are made of 12 to 15 participants.
- We offer, over a two week stay, 30 hours of English workshops. Workshops are animated by a qualified and dynamic bilingual counsellor who’s concerned about the success of your child.
- We help teenagers to better understand and express themselves in English during real every day life situations.
- The emphasis is put on vocabulary and communication, and we support verbal interaction at all moments. We focus on oral expression and we complement the workshop with elements of reading and writing.

Activities supervised by bilingual counsellors and animators which allow the acquisition of knowledge by combining linguistics, culture, adventure and the outdoors. In all, a diversified program developed from teenagers’ tastes and interests to support an environment of learning and success.

Admission requirements
- Being 8 to 16 years old (girl or boy).
- Being able to take part in the entertaining and teaching activities and to live in a group.
- Having an interest in learning and communicating in English.
- Have a passport, a certificate of citizenship or a Canadian visa (if necessary).
- Have an emergency repatriation insurance for those who travel by train or by plane, for obvious reasons.
- Have paid in whole the stay’s cost.
Arrival at the camp
For the teenagers driven by their parents, the arrival should be between 18h30 and 19h00 on Sunday. The arrival at the camp is a very important moment for your child and for us, since we have to establish a contact as quickly as possible. For this reason, we ask your collaboration in not extending your presence at the camp beyond 19h00.
- The regular duration of a stay is 13 days and it is usually made of 7 to 9 days of activities at the Center and from 4 to 6 days of excursions.
- Visits from the parents are not allowed during the stay.
- The use of the telephone is reserved to highlight birthdays and for emergencies.
- Participants must have had dinner before their arrival at camp. A snack is given in the evening.
Arrival/departure
Whenever the camp must accompany a camper in a train station, airport or bus station, the parents or guardian must let us know about all the relevant details: date, hour, place, flight number, etc... It should be noted that there is an additional cost for this type of service.

Departure from camp
- The departure should be between 14h30 and 16h00 on Friday.
- A show of approximately 30 minutes will be presented to parents at 2pm.
- It will be possible to purchase a few souvenirs and photos.
Installations
- We are located 50 kilometres south of Montreal.
- We can accommodate 96 teenagers per stay.
- Boys and girls are in separate dormitories.
- We have classrooms, game rooms.

Note: During outings, the participants often want to buy souvenirs. For this purpose, we consider that 50 $ to 150 $ in pocket money is sufficient. This money is kept under lock and key by management and is returned during outings.
Can have
Spending money, cameras, writing paper, crayons and pre-stamped envelopes or stamps. The camp is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Cannot have
Cigarettes, matches, lighters, knives, pocket knives, cellular phones, blackberries, pagers, MP3 players, video games, animals. Make-up and jewellery are not recommended. Prohibited items will be confiscated and returned to parents at the beginning or end of the stay.
Health and safety
- The camp is accredited by the Association des camps du Quebec and of Canada.
- The camp is covered by a responsibility insurance.
- It is strictly forbidden to smoke on the camp site as well as during outings.
- Experienced counsellors of 18 years old or older are available 24 hours a day.
Medical services
First aid services onsite, medical clinic and hospital located 15 minutes from the camp.
Medical responsability
- Quebec residents must have their Quebec medical insurance card.
- Visitors from outside Quebec must have a medical insurance in case of sickness or hospitalization.
- Drugs provided to the campers must be refunded by their parents or guardian.
- Give the Center all details concerning the teenager’s state of health. Example: medications,
allergies, etc.
Registration and reservations
You can register online at any time, or you can contact us with information@beauvallon.com or by telephone at 450 299-2506 to receive the registration form by fax (450 299-2383) or by mail.
Reservations will be considered only if they are accompanied by a cheque to the amount indicated on the registration form. The cheque will have to be made out to the order of Beauvallon International.
Note: Please pay the balance of the stay before May 1st in order to confirm your place. Sojourn cost includes: food and lodging, activities and animation, transport for visits and excursions, entree fee on the visited sites.
No refunds will be authorized except in the event of a sickness, according to the clauses on the registration form.
